Daily Express publication for the British Motor Racing Research Trust. Reflecting the sadly misplaced optimism surrounding the project, this is the story of the development of the BRM prior to its first race appearance. Foreword by Earl Howe. Full technical specification, colour centre-spread artwork, cutaway sketch and 8 pages of technical analysis by Laurence Pomeroy. Summary of GP Racing from 1895 – 1950. Inside covers feature period ‘aerial views’ of Silverstone and the original Eifel Circuit at Nurburgring. A very scarce item, this copy is in amazing condition for its age with only some inevitable staple rust. It even includes an insert application leaflet for membership of the BRMA!
